Sonoro commissioned Janet as one of six composers to write a work inspired by a choral classic. Janet chose Stanford’s Beati Quorum Via as her inspiration for personal reasons, as she explains in this short video. Watch and listen to her setting here and get in touch for a perusal score.
Sonoro are bringing the whole set of twelve paired works to Cardiff, Newcastle, Birmingham, and London this summer and autumn. A workshop for local choirs will precede each performance.
